At Refreshology we pride ourselves on providing one of a kind customized treatments for our clients.
Upon your arrival, all technicians factor in additional time to provide each client with an in depth consultation to determine our clients needs, goals, and areas of focus for each massage session. During this time please feel free to discuss with your massage therapist any concerns, medical history, pressure preference, focus areas, treatment goals, or questions regarding your massage.

Swedish Massage
For those wanting to be taken away from the stresses of everyday life, Swedish massage is the perfect solution. This massage technique uses light to moderate pressure with long relaxing broad strokes to promote relaxation and circulation.
Deep Tissue Massage
An excellent option for those wanting deeper pressure and who have specific areas of chronic pain and muscle tension. Deep tissue aims to promote recovery of injured and strained muscles. Neuromuscular manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy will be combined with deep pressure strokes.
Sports Massage
An upbeat massage designed to flush toxins from tired, sore overworked muscles. Assisted stretching is performed to increase flexibility and to manipulate muscle tissue to its relaxation state. This is ideal for those who are frequent massage recipients who engage in vigorous
exercise activities. Moderate to deep pressure is applied.
Specialized Massage Treatments
Hot Stone Massage
Traditional massage techniques are combined with hot stones to ease tired and achy muscles.
Light to moderate pressure is applied. Hot stone massage leaves you feeling rested and rejuvenated.

Hammock Massage
A fully-clothed form of bodywork that provides deep relaxation to the nervous system. The client lays perpendicular to how one would typically lay in a hammock, supported by pillows for added comfort. The therapist is able to address the body using traction & compression to achieve the “float” sensation unique to this modality. Clients often report feeling like they are floating in water or space.

Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage
“The deepest most luxurious massage on the planet.” Ashiatsu massage is a form of bodywork which very deep massage strokes are applied to the body thru the use of the therapist’s feet.
This treatment is not recommended for clients first massage or those wanting light pressure. Ashiatsu can not be performed on those with the following medical conditions: advanced osteoporosis, pregnancy, and severe varicose veins.

Thai Massage
Thai massage is also called Thai yoga massage. In your massage treatment your therapist will use their hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Thai massage combines muscle compression, joint mobilization, and range of motion stretching.
Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a padded futon mat on the floor. No oil is applied. Please wear comfortable loose fitting clothing.

Prenatal Massage
This massage is specifically customized for mother and baby. Light to moderate pressure along with relaxing broad strokes are used to help promote relaxation and address any specific areas of chronic pain and muscle tension. This massage is performed in a sidelying position along with pillows to help keep you comfortable throughout your massage. This massage can only be performed on those after their first trimester and with no pregnancy complications.

Signature Couples Massage
This massage has been created for those wanting to receive a side by side massage with their special someone. At the beginning of your massage; a consultation will be performed a to create a customized treatment for each of you. A blend of the following massage therapy techniques may be combined depending on the goals for your session: Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage.
